About the Author

Dr. Remilyn Mueller teaches at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. She was born and raised in the Philippines. Her education spans over four decades, including learning English as a second language, being homeschooled for two years, and receiving formal education in a Christian school, a community college, state universities, and a private Christian university. Her teaching experiences include K-12 grade levels, ESL students, college students on a traditional campus, and online adult learners taking bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degrees. She has presented at educational conferences and has published textbooks and journal articles. Thus, this book is the fruit of her combined experiences as an educator and as a learner.
